Bob LiVolsi's first novel Public Offerings takes readers on a roller coaster ride through the world of biotechnology, AIDS and the battle for control of oil in West Africa. Protagonist Chuck Clement's company nears an initial public offering, putting his lifetime dream within reach. Then, his ambition inadvertently jeopardizes the life of Olivia, his 15-year-old daughter. Unfolding the layers of a genocidal plot in his desperate efforts to save Olivia, Chuck soon discovers that “public offering” means something much more sinister. His dream becomes his worst nightmare – his and that of millions of others who will die if Olivia does not. And their blood will be on his hands.

Author Bio: A former high tech executive on executive teams that took two companies public, LiVolsi applies his experiences in the mercenary world of high-stakes investment to the story. As a vice president with Hewlett Packard and in his roles in building new companies, he traveled the world, partnering with governments and other international organizations. His support of missions in sub-Saharan Africa and Central America brought him closer to the day-to-day challenges presented by disease, poverty and tyranny. He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and two daughters.
